Boeing 747-236SF, registration number: 4L-GEN, has successfully passed the manufacturer scheduled maintenance inspection in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. The process of technical inspection of the aircraft lasted for 45 days.
The aircraft came back to the Tbilisi International Airport today and will continue to operate in a regular routine.
At the same time, the second aircraft of GEO SKY Boeing 747-281BF, registration number: 4L-GEO, arrived in Jakarta as it also should undergo scheduled maintenance inspector and said aircraft will come back to Georgia in 40-45 days.
"In order for the aircraft to maintain its airworthiness certificate, scheduled maintenance is carried out regularly.
It should be noted that the GEO SKY airline has a periodic maintenance certificate for the 747-200 aircraft, based on which the airline carries out periodic maintenance of the aircrafts it operates". - stated Shalva Kiknadze, the Vice President of the Airline
In Jakarta, technical checks of Boeing 747-200 type aircrafts were conducted by GMF AeroAsia.
