In the near future, helicopters manufactured by Airbus will be able to get a C- Check in Telavi. The special infrastructure for this service is already deployed and negotiations are underway to obtain the appropriate permissions.
Airline Geosky has completed the construction of an aircraft hangar and infrastructure for technical services in Telavi. The airline is negotiating with the international brand the French company Airbus to get the rights to provide a basic technical service (C-check).
After the successful conclusion of negotiations between Geosky and Airbus, the company will be the first Georgian airline, to represent an international; brand in the country and operate under its license.
Geosky has been already certified as a technical service enterprise and currently, it provides basic technical services for Augusta-type helicopters, Airbus negotiations are under process. Work is underway to get basic maintenance permissions.
