Today we are completing the first flight, taking the Georgian rugby players to the French city of Toulouse, where the match is scheduled. On behalf of Airline Geosky, we wish the boys success and a victory. For our part, we are always ready to ensure their safe and comfortable transportation throughout the year for the scheduled games," said Shalva Kiknadze, president of Airline Geosky.
The airline rebranded the plane's visuals to support the rugby players and escorted the team to the competition with cheering activities.
"Black Lion is going to a very important tournament in the EPCR Challenge Cup. Facing France's Castres will be very tough; however, Black Lion will fight for a win, which is crucial as there is a chance to advance from the group. Besides, we will have a signifiacnt game in Tbilisi on January 20, where the attendance of every Georgian fan is important, as it will be a genuine rugby holiday. As for the morale, it is incredible, thanks to Georgian Wings for creating a good mood for the boys, the team, the club, and the entire rugby union,” said Tornike Gogebashvili, executive director of the rugby union.
In the scope of the partnership, Georgian Wings will provide air transportation for the Georgian Rugby Union and Black Lion throughout 2024.
